Morgia’s Pizza is more than just a pizza - it’s tradition.
All great Italian food starts with a great sauce handed down
from generation to generation. In 1926 the Morgia tradition
came to the United States with dreams and hopes of
making a living and raising a family. Great Grandma Morgia
started selling pasta and grinder sandwiches to the Italian
immigrant workers on the docks. It wasn’t long before word
got around about her wonderful sauce and more than just
dock workers were stopping by Grandma’s for lunch
everyday.
In 1943, Morgia’s Family Ristorante opened up and
Grandma Morgia was feeding hundreds of people a day
and loving every minute of it. The tradition was passed
down from Grandma to Nana, from Nana to Mama, and
finally to my generation. Through the years things have
changed - Morgia’s Family Ristorante no longer exists but
the family tradition and favorite recipes live on.
Today, the Morgia Family pasta and pizza sauces are being jarred and sold Commercially in
Upstate NY, along with our family pasta and pizza. Though the names on the pizza boxes range
from Augie’s to Vic’s... it’s still Morgia’s. We are honored to bring you the best and Biggest pizza
- from our family to yours.
